Rocky Mountain Elk original painting

"I really wanted to go for it with this piece and express how grand I feel the rocky mountain front is.  This setting can be found in northwestern Montana, my current home-state, and a few hours drive from my house.  I was headed up into Canada with a buddy of mine and we were blessed with an amazing array of fall colors that season.  We saw plenty of elk on that trip and things just sort of fell into place with this idea."
