"The scene depicted here is quintessential Wyoming and certainly the moose represents the state in some regard as well.  Initially, I had the Teton mountain range in the background, but it felt like too much and well, somewhat tacky.  So, it was quite easy to nuke the tetons out and replace it with a simple, yet powerful sky.  I feel like the largest cloud towards the right side of the sky balances out the piece, adding a secondary interest, but without dominating the scene."
